Wedding Portraits: Lauren

Lauren was one of my best friends in middle school. We lost touch when she moved back to Arkansas with her family, but this all happened before the advent of Facebook. I found her and not only did we find that we had a lot in common, she was also engaged! As it turned out, she didn't have a photographer for the event so I was more than happy to fill the role. Here are some of her bridal portraits that we took around the area of her house:

The photograph above was taken after coming across two snakes! That made things very interesting.

Lauren is classy, beautiful, and true to her roots. I was thrilled to be able to reconnect to her, and she made for a lovely subject, and a lovely bride. :-)

Portrait Paintings

I've always loved painting, and I recently found a love for painting portraits that I've taken. Here are two paintings that I did of my cousins Seth and Grace.

I've decided to offer portrait paintings to clients. Contact me for pricing if you're interested! These can be pictures I've taken, or that other people have taken.

Portrait Session: Amy (Part II)

Amy enjoyed the first set of portraits that I did for her so much that she commissioned me to do another set at her apartment. She's an incredible artist and a beautiful subject. Here are some of the portraits that I took with her that evening:

Portrait Session: Hannah and Bryan

Hannah is my younger sister and one of my best friends. She and Bryan have been together since high school and I couldn't be more excited about the match that they make. They're both hilarious and full of life and I loved being able to capture that on film. Here are some of the portraits from their session.

I love taking shots like this one above. I did one similar to this style for another couple, and I can't get enough of them. Hannah and Bryan worked really well together in photos, and they also do in real life. :-)

Portrait Session: Audrey

Audrey is a lovely musician at Cedarville and she needed portraits taken for her Junior Recital. Here are some of the shots that I took for her around campus:

Portraits of Kids

The following photographs are portraits that I've taken of children.

The pictures above and below are of my cousin Grace. She's adorable and extremely intelligent.

Family Portraits: The Few's

The Few's are close family friends of mine and wanted family portraits taken for the holidays. Here are a few of the top picks from that session:

Cullen was adorable and he was definitely one of the easiest subjects I've ever worked with! He smiled almost the entire time!

Portrait Session: Leland Palmer (Band)

Leland Palmer is a local band from Baltimore, Maryland. I'm good friends with the lead singer and bassist. They wanted some promotional pictures taken for their album. Here are some of the pictures from that session:

Portrait Session: Adam

Adam is one of my best friends. I've known him my entire life. He's one of the funniest people I know, and he's a really great guy all around. His grandmother commissioned me to take some updated portraits of him since the last professional pictures she had of him were his senior portraits. We live close to the inner harbor, so I thought it would be the perfect place to go to for portraits. Here are some of my top picks from that session:

Portrait Session: Amy

Amy is a friend of mine that I met in middle school. We're both pretty artsy so we go together well. I definitely loved being able to lean on the artsy side of photography for these shots. I love getting creative and making things look interesting. Amy was perfect for them too. She's such a spark, and I can't wait to do another shoot with her sometime in the future.
