Senior Portraits: Kendra

Last year, I had the chance to do Eric's senior portraits, and this year his sister wanted her portraits taken for her senior year as well. I had a lot of fun arranging these pictures at a park close to their home in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. The park had a lot of really scenic places, including some train tracks that I took advantage of. I typically don't use train tracks in sessions because I think it comes across as cliche, but I was really happy with the way these turned out, and thought it really worked with her violin in the shots. Christmas Family Portraits: Jacobs

The Jacobs came to my in-home studio in December to get some family portraits done for cards. It was a lot of fun to play around with some different props this year. I went out and got some large bows, some of the old-fashioned large bulbed colorful lights, and other knick knacks to use. Unfortunately, the old-fashioned lights blew out after about 3 minutes. I guess that's why most people don't use them anymore! Otherwise, I was pleased with how the session turned out. It can be very challenging to arrange that many kids and get a good shot!
